Butte celebrates completion of NorthWestern energy’s new HQ

Butte celebrated the completion of NorthWestern Energy’s new headquarters building in Uptown. Nearly two years to the day that ground was broken on the project.

A crowd gathered in front of the office at 11 East Park Street to witness the ceremonial ribbon cutting of the five-story 100,000 square foot building. That replaced it’s former office on East Broadway.

The $26 million project took two years to complete. Officials wanted the new building to remain in Uptown in the hopes that it will spur economic development in that area.
