Guest opinion: Energy bill overcomes gridlock, invests in Montana economy – By JON TESTER U.S. Senator

Back in Washington, politics too often rears its ugly head and nothing gets done. But just this week, the Senate struck a balance to pass a comprehensive energy bill that does some great things for Montana.

I know it’s hard to believe because the gridlock is paralyzing. But this week the Senate delivered for our state’s energy and outdoor economies when we passed the bipartisan Energy Policy Modernization Act — a comprehensive energy and public lands package.
