Montana Transportation Commission considering rule allowing digital billboards

The Montana Department of Transportation is considering a rule change that would allow, for the first time, digital billboards to be erected along the state’s highways.
While states like Maine, Vermont, Alaska and Hawaii don’t allow any billboards, Montana does, though with strict regulations. And the Treasure State is among the last holdouts on digital billboards, which can be controlled remotely, cycling through multiple advertisements.
