University of Montana Productions will not be funded by the Associated Students of the University of Montana next fiscal year, saving the student government $19,000. ASUM has already withdrawn $34,000 from its emergency account to keep other student groups in business.

UMP has been around for over 40 years, bringing entertainment to UM and the Missoula community. As one of the largest student employers at UM, its focus is to provide students with learning opportunities and professional development in preparation for their future careers.
