Announcing the Montana World Affairs Council’s new Executive Director – Alex Sobin

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

The Montana World Affairs Council is happy to announce that Alex Sobin has joined the team as the new Executive Director.

Alex comes to the Council with a diverse background in nonprofit administration and education. Alex attended the University of Montana, receiving a B.A. in Biology and obtaining her teaching licenses in biology and broadfield science. She has worked with Adventure Cycling Association and spectrUM Discovery Area in Missoula, as well as teaching at Kodaikanal International School in South India. Alex has a passion for international education and feels strongly about the Council’s work in Montana schools. In her free time she can be found outdoors, enjoying all western Montana has to offer.

The Montana World Affairs Council welcomes Alex and is excited about the dynamic background that she brings to the Council.
