Sharon O’Hare outlines "roadmap to recruitment" at Associated Students of the University of Montana meeting

Sharon O’Hare, the associate vice president for enrollment and student success who headed a change in recruitment for the University of Montana over two years ago, said at an ASUM meeting Wednesday that Fall 2016 will be the first reflection of the process she initiated. She hopes to see an increase in enrollment.

With O’Hare in charge, the office of Enrollment and Student Success changed its approach by redesigning every form of communication with prospective and current students. That included reworking printed letters, emails and posters, as well as moving the focus toward the quality of the University and the personal experiences of past and current students.

"When you want to turn enrollment around it takes time," O’Hare said. "What we can control, we’ve changed."
