City College programs address workforce needs, give students chance to upgrade careers in Billings, Montana
January 23, 2016 /
Preparing students for industrial careers has been a priority for state officials for several years as industry leaders warn of a growing skills gap, where there aren’t enough people in the workforce with skills for industrial careers like welding or product processing.
"These students will come out with a two-year degree making $60,000 a year," said Gov. Steve Bullock, who toured City College http://citycollege.msubillings.edu/ with other state leaders Thursday morning. "We have an opportunity to bring education and the private sector together."
