MERCURYcsc Hires Jason Pollock as New Executive Creative Director

Some people just prefer 25 and snowy to 72 and sunny.

MERCURYcsc, based in Bozeman, Mont., recently hired Jason Pollock, former creative director of Los Angeles’ 72andSunny, as its new executive creative director. Pollock, a Montana native, moved to Bozeman from Los Angeles, where he worked for a range of clients including ESPN, Anheuser Busch, Anchorman 2, Activision, Samsung, and Starbucks.

Most recently, Pollock worked as a freelance Creative Director/Copywriter for some of the biggest agencies in the business, including Media Arts Lab, 180LA, Ignited, Fallon, CP+B and 215McCann

In 2010, Pollock wrote and creative directed FloTV?s Moments commercial, ranked by AdAge as the #3 Super Bowl spot of the year. He was also part of the team that designed the College Football Trophy last year for ESPN. And he helped relaunch Busch, modernizing the beer for a younger audience which, in turn, increased sales by almost ten percent.

His portfolio also includes projects for Nike, Conservation International, Domino?s, Volkswagen, Truth, and Guitar Hero.

Pollock began his career as a copywriter having earned a bachelor?s degree from the University of Oregon in Journalism and Communication.
