Don’t panic over misinformation on Clean Power Plan

Closing the Colstrip plants, if that happens, will have some serious effects, especially for the communities that are immediately affected. But there is no reason to panic; the statewide impacts of closure can be absorbed, much as the closures of mines and mills all across the state have been in the past. We need to consider how we are going to implement the climate policies that we desperately need. In doing that, none of us are well-served by misinformation.
