Lincoln, Montana’s Sculpture in the Wild takes on new meaning at solstice time

Four artists from Denmark, Ireland, Finland and New York converged in these woods two Septembers ago to make the first imprints on the new, perception-shattering park that grows in scope and stature with each passing season.

Solstice or no solstice, the second winter of Blackfoot Pathways: Sculpture in the Wild was well underway. Flakes of increasing size that floated in the soft light of a Rocky Mountain winter added to the white blanket already covering these woods.
