A mother-daughter partnership heading a longtime Butte business received the Business of the Year Award Thursday in the third annual Butte Elevated Awards ceremony, sponsored by the Butte Local Development Corp. http://www.bldc.net/

Shirley Harrington and Lynn Harrington Hirschy of Harrington Bottling Co. were recognized for "contributing significantly to the economic development of our community through steady job creation, significant revenues from out of state, support for community events/organizations, and sustainable business practices," said Pam Haxby-Cote, BLDC executive director.
