Matt Forbes has turned a warehouse cluttered with junk into a functional workspace buzzing with creative activity.

The Means of Production Shop https://www.facebook.com/theshophelena , a communal workspace for manufacturers, tinkerers and emerging artists, is up and running in the old state nursery on Highway 12, and Forbes has enough paying members to break even on the lease.
