Bozeman-based Human Scale Business and MSU Business College To Host First Craft Entrepreneurship Program, 10/7

The Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Montana State University http://www.montana.edu/business/index.html and Human Scale Business http://humanscalebusiness.org , in partnership with Etsy https://www.etsy.com/craftentrepreneurship , are offering a new program that will provide micro-business training to adults with existing creative skills to help supplement their income and sell their products to new markets.

The Craft Entrepreneurship Program will kick off at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, in Jabs Hall on the MSU campus. Participants will be enrolled in a training program that will guide them through the basics of starting and running an online business through Etsy, including pricing, basic accounting, product photography and marketing. The course is free to all eligible participants. (See website for eligibility requirements.)

The classes are taught by successful Etsy craft sellers who support participants through every aspect of setting up their online shops. Teachers will share best practices on topics that impact new sellers most through the learning lab of helping participants create their own stores and product listings.
