Helena to consider seeking grant for Pioneer Aerostructures jobs

The city of Helena will consider on Monday whether to apply to the Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund for a $70,000 grant on behalf of Pioneer Aerostructures.

The grant would purchase equipment the company will need to create an anticipated 14 new full-time jobs, according to an email from Nathan Pawelek, the company’s human resources manager.

The application noted the jobs would be created between October 2015 and March 2017. An additional two part-time jobs would also be created.
