Missoula County Public Schools: Invest in high-quality education

Kids need safe schools. They need places to learn and play that meet their basic needs and also enrich their lives and prepare them for the future.

In order to fill these needs, to attract families to Missoula and to build a strong economy, we must invest in high-quality public education. But our schools are falling behind: the average age of Missoula’s school facilities is 57 years; high-speed internet is often unavailable; and some schools are so overcrowded that kids are turned away from their neighborhood schools.

Volunteers and bake sales can only do so much. The Lewis and Clark Elementary School PTA urges a "yes" vote on the school bonds on the November 2015 ballot. Please join us in ensuring that our public schools have adequate funding and a coordinated plan so that Missoula’s kids will thrive.
