Study: Montana finally meets national Internet access rates

A recent study commissioned by the Greater Montana Foundation has found that 84 percent of Montanans have Internet access at home, the first time the state has met the national average.

The survey also found that 48 percent of Montana residents consider community news a top priority on a daily basis, and that the overwhelming majority of state residents consider jobs and the economy the top issue facing the state, followed by education and health care.
