Boiseans plug into electric cars

"If you want to change people’s behavior, you can’t do it with coercion," says Gregory Allen, who built his own electric-assisted bicycle. "You have to do it with temptation."

As part of National Drive Electric Week, almost 40 electric and plug-in cars were on display at the MK Nature Center parking lot on Sunday. It was Boise’s fourth annual event, sponsored in part by Idaho Sierra Club, and "it’s one of the biggest (displays) in the country," says organizer John Weber.
