Direct flight from Great Falls to Chicago possible
September 19, 2015 /
The U.S. Department of Transportation awarded a $385,000 Small Community Air Service Development grant to pursue a nonstop flight from Great Falls to Chicago.
"Our passenger traffic to and from the Chicago market has increased 38 percent over the last three years and about 60 percent of that traffic is inbound," said Great Falls International Airport Director John Faulkner. "Our east-bound traffic is growing rapidly, and we believe adding a direct flight to Chicago is attainable."
