Paul Churchill has been sober for almost a year — long enough he has a sense of humor about his struggle with drinking. "Believe it or not, there’s a social stigma against being an alcoholic," he joked.
To fight that stigma and help other recovering alcoholics, Churchill founded the Recovery Elevator recoveryelevator.com podcast in early February.
When he started the project, Churchill expected it to be a low-key affair.
"If I stay sober, and my mom listens, it’s a total success," he said, describing his initial feelings.
