Anaconda getting new master plan for downtown economic development
August 28, 2015 /
To revitalize Anaconda’s downtown, the county has paid a consultant $33,000 to design a master plan.
The plan, designed by Sanderson Stewart, a community development firm with offices in Billings and Bozeman, can help Anaconda become more economically viable, said Charly Loper, volunteer with the Anaconda Local Development Corp.
It’ll also help officials consider how to spend Tax Incremental Financing, or TIF, money, which Anaconda expects to receive in November.
