Dematic Corp has a need for a Software Engineer at our office in Bigfork, MT. This position will be within the Software as a Business department focusing on our CMMS product.

The successful candidate must have knowledge in the following skill set:

HTML5, Object-Oriented JavaScript, CSS3
C# or other .NET experience
SQL Server 2008+
API technologies: RESTful, WCF, WSDL
Windows Services development

Additional skills in the following areas are highly desired:

Strong object oriented design concepts
jQuery, Canvas, JavaScript templating engines, hash routing
Familiarity with Scrum Agile software development
A good foundation in algorithms, design patterns, and data structures
Familiarity with version control especially TFS
Familiarity with ASP.NET/MVC
Familiarity with development environments such as Eclipse, IntelliJ and Microsoft Visual Studio
Familiarity with Microsoft server technologies, IIS, SQL, Azure, MSMQ.
Familiarity with MassTransit, MSMQ, RabbitMQ, Windows Service Bus or other ESB.
Objective C and / or Mobile Development for Android is a plus
Knowledge of software/hardware setup
Good problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Test Driven Development

Duties to include:

Translate high level requirements into specific software requirements
Design and develop architectural concepts
Assist in the development of new database artifacts
Participate in design reviews
Develop software
Test Developed Software
Generate and/or review test requirements
Identify methods to automate software verification
Generate design documentation
Participate as a member of a Scrum team
Work with cross-functional teams to release software products
Learn and apply new tools, technologies, and industry best practices
Involved in training activities of developed software

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
3+ years of software development experience
1+ years of database development experience
Willingness to travel 5% – 10%
