July 25, 2015 /
A $1.1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education will allow Montana Tech’s Institute for Educational Opportunities to continue student support.
The grant, awarded over five years, allows IEO to continue academic support for low-income, first-generation, and disabled students.
In particular, the U.S. Department of Education award allows Tech and IEO Executive Director Amy Verlanic to focus on students studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields.
