Chevrolet has a pretty impressive bevvy of electric cars in the Volt, Spark and soon to be released Bolt, but the company hasn’t yet delved into high performance luxury EVs–and it doesn’t look as though it’s about to any time soon. Maryland-based Genovation, however, has announced they are working on an all-electric Corvette–called the GXE–that will be ready at the end of July, and they are hoping the car will set some new records for street legal electric cars.
