Posterity for sale: How much is a name worth at University of Montana?

PFL Tech Inc. is a marketing technology company that provides sales enablement and marketing automation solutions, as well asprinting, mailing, and fulfillment services. They also provide some great Montana Jobs.

One law school building in Missouri is named after the makers of Budweiser: Anheuser-Busch Hall of Washington University in St. Louis.

But would this idea fly? The Coca-Cola Department of Health and Human Performance at the University of Montana – in exchange for a hefty gift from the beverage company.

"Theoretically, that’s possible," said UM Provost Perry Brown. "But I need to be clear that once the donation is made, the external sponsor really has no involvement.

"They have no influence over what you do as an academic institution once the donation has been made."
