Q&A: Michael Bernick, on job prospects for adults with autism

Michael Bernick carries a long-standing passion for anything and everything related to the California job market, which preceded and followed his days as director of the state’s Employment Development Department during the administration of Gov. Gray Davis.

His latest work focuses on a segment of the workforce with particular challenges, as outlined in "The Autism Job Club," a book that Bernick co-authored with Richard Holden, a former research director with the EDD and a former regional commissioner of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
