Energy Smackdown launched for Bozeman residents

The City of Bozeman is launching a new competition this month aimed to save you money. The Bozeman Energy Smackdown is a year-long energy conservation challenge designed to help residents easily understand and track their energy usage.

Participants can engage in a friendly competition and compare their household’s energy use to that of their neighbors and energy efficient homes to see how each home stacks up. Each month the city will give away $100 of Downtown Dollar gift cards, with two grand prize $1,000 gift cards to the winners’s favorite local home improvement store at the end of the competition.
