Whitefish, Montana based U*Seek combines rewards and loyalty programs with donations to charity

U*seek https://www.useek.com/ began when Huntley Ritter moved to Montana in 1999.

"I had a love for the outdoors," said Ritter. "Hunting and fishing and doing those sorts of things."

The former Hollywood actor is now an entrepreneur, working out of Whitefish. He launched his mobile app on April 9.

Ritter didn’t like how some sites force users to watch or click on ads. He decided there should be a more interactive way to promote brands.

U.Seek launches on UM campus

Some campuses and local businesses have adopted a new app that gives students rewards for playing a game.

U.Seek, created by Montana resident Huntley Ritter, is played by clicking on hidden logos that appear in videos. Each logo gives a coupon redeemable at local businesses.

Users receive points that can be redeemed for a chance to win larger prizes, including two tickets to Sasquatch! music festival.
