Boeing celebrates expanded Helena plant and new jobs

Boeing http://www.boeing.com Helena held the grand opening on Friday for 55,000 square-foot addition of manufacturing space that company officials said will mean an increase in production and new jobs.

The international airplane company has operated a plant near the Helena airport since 2010 when it purchased the locally-owned Pioneer Aerostructures plant.

"In the global arena in which we operate, you really are an asterisk in my mind," Jenette Ramos, vice president and general manager of Boeing Fabrication, said about Boeing Helena.
