Montana Governor Steve Bullock still fighting for public preschool
April 14, 2015 /
Gov. Steve Bullock visited Bozeman’s public preschool Monday to emphasize his determination to start free preschool for Montana’s 4-year-olds, despite efforts by Republican lawmakers to kill the governor’s $37 million program.
"I’m sure hopeful we can get it done," Bullock said at Whittier School, surrounded by 21 happily noisy preschool children. "I can’t stress how important it is for the future of our state, the future of our workforce."
