The Montana Department of Commerce is proud to announce the streamlined delivery of one of its cornerstone economic development initiatives – the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. As a result of the feedback he got from Montanans through his Main Street Montana Project, Governor Bullock specifically called on state agencies to create efficiencies in state government’s economic development. To implement this directive, the Department of Commerce this week announced the consolidation of the state’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program in its Community Development Division.
