Club invites Gallatin girls to world of computers
February 26, 2015 /
Walk into any computer coding class at Bozeman or Belgrade high schools and one glance at the students shows that guys far outnumber the girls.
To make more girls feel welcome in the world of technology and computers, a new after-school club recently started — the Gallatin Girls Coding Club.
The club is free and intended to be fun, welcoming and supportive. It’s open to teenage girls from the Bozeman, Belgrade and Livingston areas, whether they’re public, private or homeschooled students.
