Headlining the report — the state of the community through the eyes of University of Montana President Royce Engstrom, Missoula County Commissioner Bill Carey and Missoula Mayor John Engen.

Missoula Leaders Look at State of the Community
Missoula Mayor John Engen says the economy is in a much better place than just a few years ago when a mill and department store closed.
Engen was among three community leaders to speak out during the state of the community address. He highlighted improvements the city has seen over the last year and where the local economy is now compared to 2010.

Missoula leaders optimistic about 2015
Missoula’s emergence from economic stagnation will gain momentum over the next year as job growth picks up, construction booms and investors bring new opportunity to the local market, Mayor John Engen said Monday.
Engen, along with Missoula County Commissioner Bill Carey and University of Montana President Royce Engstrom, addressed 150 people at the State of the Community presentation hosted by City Club Missoula.
