Half of Oregon job openings don’t pay enough to get by, new study finds

A new study shows nearly half of the jobs opening up in Oregon do not pay enough to make ends meet, even for single adults.
Low-paying jobs are equally pervasive nationwide, says Seattle-based Alliance for a Just Society and affiliate Oregon Action. The groups advocate for social and economic equality. "Low Wage Nation," http://thejobgap.org/state-reports-low-wage-nation-2015/ their report issued Tuesday, analyzes job openings in 10 states, including Oregon.
