Montana Career Opportunity – Relationship Manager – Northwest Farm Credit Services – Bozeman, MT

We are currently seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to work in our Bozeman, MT office. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

Markets and sells Country Home Loan (CHL) products

Develops and maintains an active external marketing network with real estate agents and home builders throughout the assigned territory.

Develops and maintains internal referral network with other lending and insurance staff throughout assigned territory.

Maintains familiarity with other Northwest FCS products, and collaborates with other Northwest FCS staff by making referrals and cross-selling products in order to meet customer needs.

Establishes rapport with and develops and maintains confidence of customers and prospective customers.

Makes quality credit decisions to ensure customer service, a high quality loan portfolio and loan administration. Monitors loan performance and services assigned accounts.

Gathers financial information through interviews in person and by phone, reviews financial statements, legal opinion, tax records and other financial information. Complies with Associate documentation expectations, procedures, laws and regulations.

Maintains credit analysis knowledge and skills and thorough understanding of Northwest FCS and secondary market residential lending guidelines and regulatory compliance.

Participates in loan closings by ensuring the appropriate documentation is completed and understood by the customer.

Desired Skills and Experience

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field. Five years of experience in credit and related areas is typically required to successfully perform requirements of this position. Sales experience in financial services preferred. Successful candidate will complete all requirements for registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
