How else could the UM and MSU systems work together to save money and provide better services?
How about purchases for everything from toilet paper to food? Submitting a single purchase order for those things that all colleges buy would result in more competition for the contract and lower costs.
The "competition" between the Griz and Cats is fine for the football field but it has to be put aside when it costs students and the public money and efficiency.
