The Bozeman Energy Project – The City of Bozeman hopes to save businesses money and energy

The Bozeman Energy Project says that if greater Bozeman reduced energy usage by 10%, collectively businesses could save over $2.6 million dollars a year.

The bitter cold temperatures this past week has plenty of businesses looking closely at how they are spending money on energy. The city of Bozeman hopes to help those businesses. The Bozeman Energy Project http://www.bozemanclimatepartners.net/ is a new program that hopes to reduce the carbon footprint of greater Bozeman through education and application.

The project, launched on Monday gives businesses the opportunity to get a free energy assessment from Northwestern Energy http://www.northwesternenergy.com/ and learn new strategies to bring down energy use.
