MSU technology transfer success highlighted in Prospera business awards

Montana State University’s role in spurring economic activity was center stage during the Prospera Business Network’s annual Business Excellence Awards earlier this month, with Rebecca Mahurin, director of the MSU’s Technology Transfer Office http://tto.montana.edu/ , receiving the Economic Leadership Award, and MSU-spinoff 406 Aerospace https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9tdenESahs named Innovator of the Year.

"The accomplishments of the MSU Technology Transfer Office under Dr. Mahurin’s leadership, and 406 Aerospace’s commercialization of state-of-the-art technology out of the MSU Space Science and Engineering Laboratory are compelling examples of MSU’s key role driving the economy of our region," said Stuart Leidner, Prospera’s executive director.
