TicketPrinting.com, Energy 1, and Foundant Technologies Montana based companies named among fastest growing by Inc. magazine

Three local businesses were named among the fastest-growing private companies in the country.

The southwest Montana-based companies Energy 1, Foundant Technologies and TicketPrinting.com http://www.ticketprinting.com were ranked 1,436, 3,021 and 4,625, respectively, by the national business magazine Inc.

The list is the magazine’s annual ranking of U.S.-based private, for-profit independent companies. All have grown rapidly in the past three years and the company executives believe the reasons for their continued success are linked.

TicketPrinting.com is a company that allows people to create tickets for events and build webpages to securely sell tickets online. The CEO of the Harlowton-based company, Lance Trebesch, said a New York customer called him not long ago to say he could tell the TicketPrinting.com customer service representatives were "not faking nice," but were genuinely nice.

TicketPrinting.com began 17 years ago, but Trebesch said it recently launched a new business called Raffle River, a product that enables grassroots fundraising by letting people create a raffle page for free. On the page, people can pay for a raffle ticket securely, akin to TicketPrinting.com. The new venture keeps the excitement of a new business around, Trebesch said. He also launched TicketRiver, which allows people to sell tickets online, and noted the company has expanded to the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. Expanding a business carries a vibe similar to that of starting a brand new one, he said.
