Tibetan Buddhists build Garden of One Thousand Buddhas for peace in Montana
October 9, 2014 /
Tibetan monks prayed, Salish girls flew kites, Japanese tourists snapped pictures, Missoula Christians advocated peace and then didgeridoo-sounding Mongolian throat singing floated across Ewam Sang-ngag Ling, a Buddhist center on the Flathead Indian Reservation.
The Ewam http://www.ewam.org/ is home to the Garden of One Thousand Buddhas, which draws visitors from around the world.
Ewam Sang-ngag Ling, or the Land of Secret Mantra, Wisdom and Compassion, is the vision of Gochen Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche, high-ranking Buddhist lama from a prominent family.
