UM president tasks faculty with strengthening academics, promoting liberal arts

The president of the University of Montana has charged the school’s faculty with identifying ways to strengthen academic programs and better promote the importance of a liberal arts education to students and their parents.

President Royce Engstrom mentioned the university’s Academic Alignment and Innovation Project during his State of the University address earlier this month. The project’s task force held its second meeting this week.
