Montana trade mission group lands in Beijing – greeted by Ambassador Baucus

U.S. Ambassador to China Max Baucus met Governor Steve Bullock and a team of Montana business and industry leaders in Beijing.

Following a 12-hour flight from Seattle to Beijing, the trade mission touched down at about 8:00 local time and a familiar face was there to greet them at the airport.

Baucus said while greeting the group, "Welcome to Montana, go Montana, go Big Sky; we’re going to take this country by storm."

Baucus is believed to be the first U.S. Ambassador to China to personally greet a trade mission, and the former U.S. senator from Montana will have a big presence on the trip.
