Mountain Madness Airshow announces 2014 performer lineup – August 30-31
Montana’s only 2014 airshow welcomes back beloved performers and adds fresh acts
Kalispell’s Chamber of Commerce announced today it will welcome an exciting diversity of activities and performances at the 2014 Mountain Madness Airshow http://www.montanaairshow.com . In addition to the United States Air Force Thunderbirds http://www.afthunderbirds.com/site/ , the airshow will host nationally acclaimed performers executing aerobatic routines in custom-built aircraft.
Organizers of the 2014 Mountain Madness Air Show are prepared for more than 30,000 spectators to experience the power of the Thunderbirds and a roster of sensational support acts.
The Thunderbirds are joined by multiple acts including the Iron Eagle Aerobatic Team, Kent Pietsch, a daredevil comedic act, Will Allen, who sings the national anthem while flying a choreographed aerobatic routine, and Two Bear Air demonstrating a search and rescue. On the ground, Gordon Bowman Jones, the voice of Aviation, will serve as the event emcee and the spectators will have the opportunity to see Flash Fire Jet Truck, the world’s fastest jet-powered truck, in action.
In addition to a packed performer list, numerous static displays and festival activities will also be offered at this year’s show. A Kid’s Zone, sponsored by 4 Your Amusement, features a space shuttle play land and 90′ Aircraft carrier slide to entertain children of all ages. A Mobile Interactive Aviation Museum, sponsored by DreamBIG, presents a hands-on tour of a fully restored A7D Corsair II attack fighter. This display will provide attendees the opportunity to sit in a cockpit and have their picture taken in flight gear.
