Business Expansion Brings 200 New Jobs to Shelley, ID

Golden Valley Natural (GVN), an Idaho-based family business in operation since 1968, is building a new jerky manufacturing facility in Shelley, Idaho. The project was made possible with New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) financing and will create 200 high-quality jobs in this rural area.

Collaboration between several partners brought the project to reality. Montana Community Development Corporation (Montana CDC) http://mtcdc.org provided $15.8 million in NMTC allocation, US Bancorp Community Development Corporation is the Tax Credit Investor, and Zions Bank is the lender.
