Great Falls Sets New Job and Labor Force Records!

The Great Falls metro area continued its rapid growth in June, adding 581 people to our labor force and 339 jobs, according to data released this morning by the Montana Dept. of Labor! We set a new labor force record, topping 42,000 for the first time, as well as a new employment record.

Our labor force has grown 2.5% in 2014, adding 1,035 people. Our employment has grown 3.2% in 2014, adding 1,262 jobs!

So, let’s revisit Moody’s forecast in 2012 that the Great Falls metro area would lose 200 jobs in 2012-2014. So far, we’ve gained 2,669 jobs!!! Hey Moody’s, you might want to update your forecast!

THANK YOU to all our innovative and courageous entrepreneurs, businesses and developers who have created new jobs and invested in new real estate projects in the Great Falls trade area!!!

We’re moving GREAT FALLS FORWARD!
