Online diagram illustrates district’s lower test scores – K-5 Student Achievement in Montana AA School Districts

A parent of students at Central-Linc Elementary and Helena Middle schools has published an online diagram showing how far behind academically students in the Helena School District are, compared with students in other similarly sized districts in Montana.

Debbie Grebenc had always assumed small neighborhood schools were best for students, but when she looked at the data, she didn’t see what she expected.

"I have to admit, I was shocked," Grebenc said.
