Montana releases strategic plan for outdoor recreation

State officials released their plan for guiding outdoor recreation management over the next five years.

Montana State Parks developed the plan, titled "Creating a Vibrant Future for Montana’s Outdoor Recreation Heritage," http://stateparks.mt.gov/about-us/scorp.html through a collaboration of federal, state and local outdoor recreation managers and partner organizations. The University of Montana’s Institute for Tourism and Recreation Research surveyed Montana residents to gather data for the plan.
