Did ASMSU shakeup weaken student government at Montana State University?

In early April, Bock said Marley gave her 24 hours to respond a reorganization plan for the ASMSU staff. A couple days later, he and a top human resources official walked into the ASMSU office and told Bock and Lindner to get their handbags and leave. Standing outside the office was the campus police chief.

"They said news of the reorganization had leaked prematurely," Bock said. She said she felt "stunned … devastated."

Lindner, laid off after 11 years, said in an email that she felt angry.

"My last day of work after 11 years we were escorted out, like criminals," Lindner wrote. "I have never even been reprimanded at a job before, and we poured our heart and soul into that place."
