A poster that’s set to be seen across the country has a unique Missoula connection.
Wilderness 50 – a coalition of non-profit conservation groups – has chosen a painting by Missoula-based artist Monte Dolack to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act.
The group unveiled the painting called "The Peaceable Kingdom of Wilderness" at the Monte Dollack Gallery http://www.dolack.com/ on Friday evening. Dolack beat out other artists from all over the country who also submitted their designs.
