Missoula bus officials consider free-fare rides

Mountain Line Officials and public supporters of a zero-fare bus alternative went before City Council on Wednesday during their budget committee meeting.

A partnership comprised of educators, hospitals, and local businesses will help fund the project, which will allow free rides for everyone all year long.

The project has been included in the city’s 2015 fiscal year budget, where they’ll look to fund about $50,000 of the project.
