"MBI is pleased to count such a technically proficient company among its clients and plans to assist the company’s continued growth," said David Stoltenberg, executive director of MBI.

WebParking.com signed on as an incubator client in November and moved into the incubator itself in December. The MBI leases space in its offices to clients for $9 a square foot.

The MBI is a non-profit organization created to foster the economic growth of Yellowstone County and the Eastern Montana region by encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation. It was formed as a partnership between Big Sky Economic Development Authority, Montana State University-Billings, Montana State University TechLink, and NASA.

WebParking.com was formed in 1999 by Ronda and Justin Burleson. It provides e-commerce and Internet solutions to companies throughout the U.S. For example, they offer a search engine optimization program that helps customers’ web sites maintain a presence at the top of Internet search engines such as Google and Yahoo.

The company had been operating out of the Burlesons’ home for the past three years. "One of our main purposes (in joining MBI) was to use it as a stepping stone to get out of being a home-based business," said Justin. "There’s a professional perception. Going after larger clients, not having a physical business location or a conference room had a direct impact. Now we have access to an 80-person conference room. We’ll start, probably in March and April, having seminars. For a beginning business, this is just awesome."

MBI provides business consulting services, including access to a knowledgeable advisory board, and the use of office space and office equipment.

"Being here actually created more business contacts – professors; I’ll be speaking at the International Business Conference because of being here," he added.

Being located in the incubator instead of at home also provides the opportunity to hire additional employees. Justin said the company plans on hiring interns this summer that could turn into permanent positions.

WebParking.com can be reached at 259-9282 or via http://www.webparking.com. For more information on MBI, call 657-2138.
